CEO is a coalition of labor and community groups working on corporate responsibility and health care issues.
Volunteer and Intern Opportunities include the following:
1. Research and Advocacy - CEO is continuously researching issues of corporate responsibility and healthcare. Examples of research reports they have conducted include a review of economic development subsidies, employer based health coverage, the role of healthcare in the labor movement, and issues of underinsured working people.
2. Legislative Advocacy and Lobbying - CEO does engage in legislative advocacy and lobbying. For volunteers or interns interested in learning more about the political process, this might be a good opportunity.
3. Program and Event Planning - CEO regularly does events to raise money and awareness as well as to put together community forums or educational presentations.
4. Web Development and Administrative - CEO is always looking for assistance in maintaining its IT functions and website management.
