The New State Health Care Law
CT Public Act 09-148
SustiNet is the new state health care law that passed in July 2009 after the legislature overrode the Governor's veto. It means better health care choices for everyone in our state. Additionally, it uniquely positions CT to benefit from the recently passed federal reform by putting our state at the front of the line to receive federal dollars to promote good health and help revive our economy. The state and federal laws work hand in hand to make health care available and affordable to everyone.
Sustinet Board
The SustiNet Board of Directors, with five commitees and three task forces, has been charged with developing an implementation plan for SustiNet, CT's public health insurance choice.
